JFacuItg of IBcturinc De for 1897-8-Sir Hugh Beevor REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION OF MEDICAL STUDENTS Every Medical Student is required to register the con mencement of his professional studies at the Office of he General Medical Council 299 Oxford Street London but no Student is allowed to register unless he produces Certificate of havinjr passed preliminary Examination in Arts Amongst the Arts Examinations recognised for this purpose are the Matriculation Examination of the University of London the Oxford and Cambridge Senior Local Examinations and the Special Examinations in Arts periodically held by the College of Preceptors The Matriculation Examination at the University of London takes place twice year commencing on the second Monday in Januarv and the second Monday in June respectively Examinations in Arts are held by the College of Preceptors four times year viz in the months of March June September and December The complete List of Examining Bodies whose Exanrina- tions fulfil the requirements of the Medical Council respecting Preliminary Education and also the conditions under which Students can be Registered after commencing professional study may be obtained from the Registrar General Medical Council Office 299 Oxford Street London All requests for further information concerning Fees Classes Hospital attendance &c should be addressed to "The Secretary King's College or The Dean of thr Medical Faculty King's College There is special class in the College conducted by Mr Webb devoted to preparation for this Examination
