FACULTY OF ARTS 105 III Third Year Lectures and Discussions Tu 12 Vi ll Theory of Education History of Educational Systems since the Renascence Practice in school work is conducted under the Normal Master's supervision at the three practising schools by means of criticism lessons and teaching in these schools for fixed periods during the College vacations The Criticism Lessons are held on Fridays 30-4 first year and Wednesdays 3-4 30 second year Friday 11-12 fortnightly third year completeCourse including all subjects named above and extending over one year can be attended by Students other than Queen's Scholars Fee Ā£10 10s IV Secondary Teachers Lectures on the Theory and Practice of Education History of Educational Systems School Organisation and Management PUBLIC READING AND SPEAKING Elocution and Voice-Training Lecturer-Rev Chas Reeve Taylor LL Formerly Assistant to the late Rev Professor DOfsey Special Class for Clergy Tuesdays at 30 General Classes Mondays -Pubhc Reading -Public Speaking The Course of Lectures in each Class is continuous begin- ning in October but recommencing after vacation with Recapitulatory Lecture for the benefit of new students The Introductory Lecture in October is free Part of the hour on each occasion is occupied by Practical Instruction of the pupils with individual criticism after each reading or speech but the last meeting of the session is devoted to Examination when Prizes and Certificates are awarded General Students are recommended to attend Course on Public Reading before Public Speaking if they do not take the two together
