ASSOCIATESHIP 407 in the Faculty of Arts or who have passed two years previously in King's College School and who had spent at least one Term in the highest class before leaving it or who have obtained such other distinctions as may be deemed sufficient by the Board of the Engineering Division of the Faculty of Science Students wishing to claim this advantage must make personal application to the Secretary at the time of entrance to this Faculty and if the claim is allowed they will be reckoned as Fourth Term Students III Must produce Certificate of proficiency in study as evinced by either- Special Certificate of Honour Two Certificates of Distinction One Certificate of Distinction and four Certificates of Merit gained in different subjects one of which must be the principal subject of his Division Such Professional distinction after leaving King's College as shall be deemed sufficient by the Principal and Professors IV Must also obtain Certificates of competent knowledge in at least four of the subjects taught by lectures in his Department of which Mathematics shall be one -These Certificates will be awarded on the results of the Jnly Examination of student's second year or in the course of his third year Must apply on printed form to be obtained in the College Office to the Dean of his Division not later than June 15 stating the claims and qualifications which he then possesses VI fee of £1 Is is charged for the Diploma VII An Associate cannot be elected Scholar or obtain Prize in the Faculty in which he gained his Associateship
