40ΰ ASSOCIATESHlT III Must produce Certificate of proficiency in study as evinced by at least two Certificates of Distinction or four Certificates of Merit gained in different subjects IV Must apply in writing to the Dean of the Faculty not later than June 15 stating the claims and qualifications which he then possesses fee of £1 15 is charged for the Diploma VI Students of this Faculty who have obtained the Diploma of an Associate are in addition to the usual privi- leges of Associates entitled to pay lower fees for the Faculty of Theology VII An Associate cannot be elected Scholar or obtain Prize in the Faculty in which he gained his Associaleship VIII Queen's Scholars who have satisfactorily passed two years in this Department are allowed to obtain the Associ- ateship by an attendance afterwards at such Evening Classes as the Arts Uoard may approve in each case and receive in their entire three years' course the Prizes and Certificates required for the Associateship in the Faculty of Arts III Faculty of Science Every Candidate for this distinction Must have been regular in his attendance at the Divinity Lectures and must have passed the periodical Examinations in this subject satisfactorily Exemption from this rule may be granted on account of conscientious objections or for some special reason II Must have pursued his studies as Matriculated Student of this Faculty for nine Terms This period is reduced to six Terms in the case of those who have previously passed three Terms
