324 CIVIL SERVICE CLASSES deduct from their actual age the full time during which they have served and persons who have served for two full con- secutive years in any situation to which they were admitted with the certificate of the Civil Service Commissioners or as Registered Copyists in connection with the Civil Service can deduct from their actual age any time not exceeding five years which they may have spent in such service Inquiries respecting any particular class of appointment should be addressed to the Lecturer intrusted with the pre- paration of candidates for that appointment General inquiries with view to determine what examinations should be taken or what classes attended should be addressed to the Dean of the Department Mr Braginton 91a Waterloo Road General Arrangements All Fees are payable in advance in the College Office any day between ten and four except on Saturday when the Office closes at two or one hour previous to the opening of Class on the first evening of any period After the first meeting the Lecturers receive the fees On paying their fees Students are required to name on the College form of admission the Clergyman of the district in which they live or their employer or the head of their Office or some other known person to whom if necessary refer- ence can be made Any fee or part of fee paid for one Class can for reasons considered by the Lecturers sufficient be transferred to any other Class Student who has joined for one or two attendances per week and wishes to increase the number of his attendances per week can do so by paying the difference of the fees If single fee be paid for more than one period consecu-' tive periods must be taken If fee be unexpired at the end of course it must be worked out at the beginning of the next No fee or portion of fee whether paid for one or two periods will be returned in any circumstances except that specially mentioned in this Calendar
