314 DEPARTMENT FOR LAt IES Miss D'Orsey may be consulted at the College on Mondays at 11 o'clock Private Lessons are also given at the College Recitation MISS HARRIET KENDALL Authoress of iC Synariss and other Poems for Recitation" Monday 11 The lessons are intended to convey complete Theoretical as well as Practical knowledge of the Subject and will embrace the general principles of good delivery Selections for recitation will be made from the Classics and the best Modern Literature In order to give each student as much individual attention as possible the classes will be somewhat limited For students who wish to have more individual time classes limited to three are formed Private lessons are also given at the College by Miss Kendall Wc HOWARD Instructor in Carving at King's College and Secretary to the "British Institute of Wood-Carvers Friday 11 The instruction consists of one lesson per week of two hours' duration with an examination and criticism by the Instructor of the Students' practice This Class should be specially attractive to pupils having knowledge of Architectural or Ornamental Drawing The Instructor will provide progressive series of examples to be copied by the students under his supervision and the work thus produced will remain the property of the student producing it Students are required after their first term to provide their own tools and materials which can if desired be obtained of the Instructor at the College at small cost Prizes for excellence will be awarded at the end of the academical year
