248 FACULTY OF MEDICINE with ready access to the special apparatus in use in the Laboratory The smaller Laboratories are for the use of those engaged in experimental work and for the Professor and his assistants Original Research Admission for original research may be obtained by arrangement with the Professor All those engaged in original research involving experiments must comply with the following regulations All ordinary Laboratory materials and reagents will be supplied for researches but extra requirements such as special or expensive apparatus or reagents must be pro- vided by the investigator and animals and their keep must be paid for No experiment involving inoculation of living animals or any experiment for which license is required may be undertaken without the knowledge and if possible the presence of the Professor Special permission must be obtained from the Professor for the use of the Laboratory after No reports or papers the outcome of such investiga- tions may be published without the knowledge and consent of the Professor In all such reports or papers the investigators must acknowledge the fact of the researches having been under- taken in the Bacteriological Laboratory of King College Fee for admission for one month for independent research Three Guineas for longer time by arrangement with the Professor Complete Course of Bacteriology Lectures and Practical Laboratory Work Open to Medical and Veterinary Practitioners Science Students Analysts &c This course includes admission to the Laboratory for practical work during the month of January from 10 to
