540 EVENING CLASSES 1a1act hi -1 ier venf omtl St le ititit he lali on The subjects for the September Examination and for the two subsequent Examinations to be held about January and Easter 1894 will be Greek Xenophon's Memorabilia Book Latin Cicero De Senectute Besides passages for translation from the selected books with questions on grammar in both Greek and Latin easy sentences from other books Greek and Latin shall also be set for translation The Outlines of Scripture History St Matthew's Gospel in Greek for translation and interpretation The outlines of English History The first two books of Euclid or Elementary Logic Special attention will be paid to English Composition To meet the expenses of the Examination the payment of fee of 156 will be required from each of the Candidates Candidates will be exempted from this examination who can produce certificates of having passed some corresponding Examination including Greek and Latin such as the Oxford or Cambridge Senior Local Examinations the Oxford and Cambridge Schools Examination for Certificates the London University Matriculation Examination Oxford Eesponsions or the Cambridge Previous Examination All Students applying for admission as Non-Graduates ί whether as having passed the Entrance Examination or as presenting the Certificates above mentioned must present themselves to the Vice-Principal on the day before the com- mencement of Term at 10 that is for the ensuing ן Michaelmas Term on Wednesday October No one can be admitted to this Division of the Theological Faculty under twenty years of age unless by special per- mission of the Principal Every Candidate for admission not being an Associate of the College must send to the Principal previous to the com-
