EVENING CLASSES 507 The Marsden Library is open as Common Boom for members of the Evening Class Department each evening from 30 to The Literary Society held on Wednesday evenings after dinner in Hall is presided over by Jas Parkins ΑΧΟ י Ή Timbrell will assist the Dean with his correspondence during the ensuing year The Evening Class Hall Dinner on Wednesday evenings at o'clock is open to all Matriculated Students of the Department The College Cap and Gown which are worn by Matriculated Students may be purchased from Messrs Cox and Son 28 Southampton Street Strand 10 Matriculated Students are eligible to compete for certain open Scholarships Prizes &c see page 519 11 Three Prizes of £5 each are given annually by the Clothworkers' Company for proficiency in any four of the Scientific Courses of Lectures in this Department These are open to all Students of the Department 12 Boxes are provided in the corridors of the College in which Students may keep their caps and gowns books &c 13 After the commencement of the Course the Prin- cipal will fix day and hour for seeing Matriculated Students 14 All Students entering for Latin Greek or Mathe- matics will be examined and classified according to pro- ficiency at the beginning of each Session by the Professor or Senior Lecturer in charge of each subject and each Student on obtaining his Card of Admission is to see such Professor or Senior Lecturer
