0 390 department for ladies Lectures are Given and Classes are Held for Ladies at 13 Kensington Square under the direction of the Council of King's College London They form Depart- ment of the College and the Committee Lecturers and Teachers are appointed by the Council Academical Year ן The academical year extends from October to the first or second week of July with short vacation at Christmas and Easter The Prince of Walee's Birthday Ascension Day and Whit-Monday are kept as Holidays in this Department An opening address will be given at the commencement of the Michaelmas Term on Monday October 16th at 30 by Eev Professor Shuttleworth Professor of Pastoral Theology at King's College London This Lecture is open to all Students and their friends Examinations and Certificates Written Examinations are held at the conclusion of each Term but attendance at such Examinations is voluntary Certificates will be given to those students who have attended regularly and passed Examinations satisfactorily for three terms These terms should be consecutive but breaks may be allowed on due cause shown The students passing will bo arranged in three classes and no student will be classed or certificate given unless at least half marks be attained in the Examination The fee for Certificate is 28 6rf Diplomas will be awarded to students who after attending at least four subjects week during two years have passed all Examinations in the 1st or 2nd Class In these subjects at least one course of Religious study should be included unless exemption from this rule be requested by Parents and allowed by the Principal The fee for Diploma is 10s 66 For further particulars and Copies of the Prospectus apply to the Vice-Principal 13 Kensington Square from whom by send- ing postage stamps Syllabus of Lectures maybe obtained
