Bacteriology 363 an work independently and undisturbed and with ready ccess to the special apparatus in use in the Laboratory fiach section is under separate lock and key The plan of study followed depends on the object the tudent or investigator may have in view -Original Research Admission to the Laboratory may be obtained for original esearch by arrangement with the Professor In this case all the ordinary Laboratory materials and eagents are supplied for researches but the expenses for any 3xtra requirements must be defrayed by the investigator Fee for admission for one month for independent research guineas for longer time by arrangement II -Private Study Admission to the Laboratory is given for private study in bacteriological methods under the supervision of and with the occasional assistance of the Professor In this case all the necessary materials and reagents will be supplied with the exception of microscope and its minor accessories Fee for' admission for one month for private study with assistance guineas for longer time by arrangement III -Practical Course Admission to the Laboratory is given at any time during the summer and winter sessions from October to March and from May to July for complete course of practical in- struction in bacteriology of one month's duration In this case also all the necessary materials and apparatus are supplied with the exception of the microscope and its accessories Each student must be provided with microscope equipped with the necessary high power objectives He may have the use For further particulars apply to Professor Crookshank King's College London
