FACULTY OF MEDICINE 347 London or the corresponding Examination of any British Iniversity Candidates may be admitted to examination for this office efore they have obtained their diplomas to practice but will ot be allowed to enter upon their duties until such diplomas ave been obtained Out-Patient Dressers -There shall be eighteen Out-Patient ressers divided between the Assistant-Surgeons They shall tend punctually on the days of the Surgeon under whom ley may be serving for the purpose of dressing patients in Surgery and registering the patients under the direction the Surgeon or Assistant Surgeon in attendance Dental Surgeon's Assistants -There shall be two Assistants the Dental Surgeon from among those Pupils who shall ave attended with regularity the Dental Practice of the ospital These appointments are open to Students studying for the ental Diploma of the College of Surgeons as well as to atriculated Students They shall serve for Six Months shall attend regularly at hours appointed and act under the direction of the irgeon Dentist In-Patient Dressers -There shall be twelve In-Patient ressers four for each In-Patient Surgeon Candidates must ive filled the office of Out-Patient Dresser and have at- nded six months' In-Patient Clinical practice In addition to the above Γη-Patient Dressers Senior resser is appointed by each Surgeon The viva voce examination for Senior Dresser shall be incipally in Anatomy the written one in Surgery having irticular reference to the nature of In-Patient Surgery indidates shall also if required take case or cases msen by the Surgeons from patients in the house at the me of examination In-Patient Dressers shall dress and register the cases Imitted into the Hospital under the direction of the rgeon or House Surgeon
