312 faculty of medicine be held for three years subject to the provisions hereafter stated and as often as the Council has accumulated the sum of £50 by means of lapsed and forfeited Scholarships or of interest on the Warneford King's College Scholarship" funds in their possession an additional Scholarship of £25 per annum for two years is given after due notice -One such extra Scholarship will be given in October 1893 These Scholarships are open to all Matriculated Students of the Medical Faculty being also perpetual pupils of the Hospital at the commencement of their first Winter Session whether attending the distinctly Medical or the Preliminary Science Course The following are the subjects of Examination Divinity Latin and Greek English and History Mathematics French and German An equal number of marks viz 100 being assigned to each of the five subjects Candidates may emit any subject except Divinity Any Candidate failing to obtain 50 marks in Divinity is thereby absolutely disqualified from further examination No Scholarship will be awarded to any Candidate who does not obtain an aggregate of at least 300 marks if the payment is to continue for three years and of 250 marks if the pavment is for two years onlv These Scholarships may be held for three years orin the case of the Extra Scholarships for two years provided the Scholar continues so Ions attending Lectures in the Medical Faculty at King's College and provided he shall oroduce to the Council at the close of his First and Second Academical Year respectively Certificate signed by the
