FACULTY OF MEDICINE 295 First-class Honours at the University of London in one of the Examinations for the Degrees of Medi- cine Surgery or Science subsequent to the Pre liminary Science Examination Such other professional distinction as shall be deemed sufficient by the Medical Board III Must communicate their wishes together with state- ment of their claims and qualifications to the Dean in writing on or before the 31st March in each year The object of this Society is the cultivation of Medicine and the auxiliary sciences by the propagation of spirit of original research and observation and of feeling of friend- ship and co-operation of those engaged in the pursuit of these sciences An Ordinary Meeting at which paper is read is held once fortnight during the Winter Session Clinical meeting is also held once month for the exhibition of Pathological and Microscopical specimens and the discussion of cases Applications for Membership are to be addressed to the Secretaries of the Medical Society of King's College London All members are elected by ballot Microscopes and Cabinet of Specimens are open to the use of Members of this Society The collection contains Physiological and Pathological preparations The subscription is one guinea for Life atretic ami The Council have taken large piece of land close to Wormwood Scrubbs Station as recreation ground for the
