292 faculty of medicine This Scholarship is of the annual value of 20 and is tenable for two years It is given every year and is open to every Student of the College whether Matriculated or Non Matriculated It is awarded to the Student who shall have executed the best series of researches in the Laboratory of King's College during the two years immediately preceding the election for six months of which time he must have been pupil in the Laboratory For conditions see page 320 tabbed Srf 0larsbtp Scholarship in Science of the annual value of £20 was founded in 1885 by Mr John Edward Rabbeth of Middleton Lodge Putney It is given annually in memory of Samuel Rabbeth Lond former distinguished Student of the School and Medical Faculty who sacrificed his life in an attempt to save child who was dying from Diphtheria For conditions see page 321 Senior Scholarship One in each year of £40 tenable for two years This Scholarship is open to all Matriculated Students of this Faculty being also perpetual Pupils of the Hospital who have completed their third but have not exceeded their fourth Winter Session Second Year Scholarship One in each year of £30 tenable for one year This Scholarship is open to all Matriculated Students of this Faculty being also perpetual Pupils of the Hospital who have completed their second but have not exceeded their third Winter Session
