faculty of medicine 291 These Scholarships are open to all Matriculated Students of the Medical Faculty being also perpetual pupils of the Hospital at the commencement of their first Winter Session whether attending the distinctly Medical or the Preliminary Science Course For conditions see page 311 Class II For the Encouragement of Resident Medical Stodents One Scholarship will be awarded at the close of the Winter Session 1893-94 of the value of £25 per annum to be held for two years This Scholarship is open to all third year Matriculated Students of the Medical Faculty being also perpetual Pupils of the Hospital who have for 18 months preceding the end of their third Winter Session resided either within the walls of the College or with member of the Medical Staff authorized by the Council to receive Medical Students into his house as Boarders See page 317 One of £60 and one of £40 II Open to all Matriculated Students of this Faculty at the commencement of their course of studies at this College either as Preliminary Science or as Medical Students but any Student who joined the College in the preceding Summer Session may compete For conditions see page 322 This Scholarship was founded in honour of the late Daniell Esq Professor of Chemistry in this College Its object is to encourage the prosecution of originai research in Chemistry
