JRmtltg of Medium Dean for 1892-3-Professor Curnow EXAMINATION IN ARTS Every Medical Student is required to register the com- nencement of his professional studies at the Office of the General Medical Council but no Student is allowed to egister unless he produces Certificate of having passed preliminary Examination in Arts Amongst the Arts Exa- ninations recognised for this purpose are the Matriculation Examination of the University of London the Oxford and Jambridge Senior Local Examinations and the Special Exami- nations in Arts periodically held by the College of Preceptors ind the Apothecaries' Society The Matriculation Examina- cion at the University of London takes place twice year commencing on the second Monday in January and the second Monday in June respectively Examinations in Arts xre held by the College of Preceptors and by the Apothecaries' Society four times year viz in the months of March June September and December The complete List of Examining Bodies whose Examina- tions fulfil the requirements of the Medical Council respecting Preliminary Education and also the conditions under which Students can be Registered after commencing professional study may be obtained from the Registrar Miller Esq General Medical Council Office 299 Oxford Street London
