natural science 199 SYLLABUS OF LECTURES -Divinity All Matriculated Students must attend the Divinity lectures siless exempted by the Principal Lectures are delivered by the Principal every Wednesday 15-2 on the Holy Scriptures The subject for next Session will be the Four Gospels in Harmony beginning fter the Sermon on the Mount There are examinations in the lectures at the close of he Michaelmas and Easter Term when Students are classed ccording to merit The Barry Prize will be awarded at Midsummer to the rlatriculated Student who passes the best examination in ivinity irrespective of the year to which he belongs No ne can gain this Prize more than once -Mathematics Pure and Applied Tuesday 11 45-1 Algebra and Algebraic Geometry of he straight line and circle Wednesday 2-3 Friday 10 20-11 40 Algebra xeometry Trigonometry and Mensuration These classes are intended to prepare for the London Jniversity Intermediate Examination class is arranged for Students preparing for the Sc Examination on Tuesday and Friday 10 20-11 40 they can lso attend such other Mathematical Classes as are suitable their progress For more detailed Syllabus see Faculty of Arts see page 70 Prizes and Certificates -At the Examination which is eld at the close of the Easter Term Prizes and Certificates re given under the same rules as are laid down under the ead of Classical Literature
