FACULTY OF ARTS 129 raining in practical work afforded by the Criticism Lessons ind the practice in the Practising Schools The Fee is two guineas per term The Three Practising Schools in connection with the formal Department are Lambeth Schools Head Master Hernaman Correspondent Jones St Martin's Schools Head Master Costigan Correspondent Rev Kitto St James's and St Peter's Schools Head Master Morgan Correspondent Rev Kempe REGULATIONS RESPECTING STUDENTS The days for the admission of new Students in the Aca- lemical Year 1893-94 are Tuesday October Wednesday ranuary 10 and Wednesday April 11 All new Students are examined on their joining the College with the view of ascertaining that they are efficiently advanced to enable them to take advantage of he College classes The Principal and Professors have the ower of sending back for time any who may be considered mqualified for admission The Mathematical subjects are Euclid Books II Arith- netic and Elementary Algebra including simple Equations The Examination in Classics will be in Grammar and in assa2 es to be translated from Standard Greek and Latin mthors also an easy passage for translation from English nto Latin prose II One Exhibition of Ā£50 given out of the Sambrooke rust will be awarded to the Student who passes the best examination in Classics on entering this Faculty in October 1893 provided he is under seventeen years on Octpber
