40Γ DEPARTMENT FOR LADIES WOOD-CARVING CLASS Instructor Howard Carving Instructor at King's College and Secretary to the British Institute of Wood-Carvers Monday 11-1 Friday 11-1 The instruction consists of two lessons per week each of two hours' duration witli an examination and criticism by the Instructor of the Students' practice This Class should be specially attractive to pupils having knowledge of Architectural or Ornamental Drawing The Instructor will provide progressive series of examples to be copied by the students under his supervision and the work thus produced will remain the property of the student producing it Students are required after their first term to provide their own tools and materials which can if desired be obtained of the Instructor at the College at small cost Fees-one day week £2 2s two days week £3 3s Upon further payment of 10s per term students will have the privilege of practising in the studio daily Saturdays excepted Prizes for excellence will be awarded at the end of the academical year
