MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 341 The course will last six months four months of which will be spent in the Laboratories of Public Health and two months in the Bacteriological Laboratory Fee 20 guineas -Public Health Laboratories Under the direction of Professor William Smith Sc Demonstrator Huntly Assoc Sc Lond Practical Instruction will be given in the Methods of Analysis of Air Water Foods &c Detection of Poisons Fees -One Month £4 4s Three Months £10 10s The Laboratories are also available for original investiga- tions and practical work in Public Health The Laboratories are open daily from to and on Saturdays to -Special Classes in Public Health Winter Session 1891 Special Classes will be held by Professor AVilliam Smith in preparation for the January examination for the Diploma in Public Health of the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons London for those Medical Practitioners who were registered or entitled to be registered on or before 1st January 1890 and to whom therefore the recent regulations of the General Medical Council do not apply The Classes will be held twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays at commencing Tuesday October 6th The Classes will embrace all the subjects required for the above examinations including Laboratory work and Inspec- tion of Houses Sanitary works &c Fee £12 12s
