MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 293 then past Unless such Certificate be produced the Scholar- ship will become void at the close of that Academical Year The Scholars of this Class will be required to compete for the ordinary Medical Scholarship in their fourth year and the Dean's Certificate of satisfactory progress in Medical studies will depend upon their obtaining an aggregate of one-half the marks in that examination This Scholarship is tenable with one of the College Medical Scholarships but the holder of Warneford Class Scholarship must resign the same if he gain Class II Scholarship The Divinity part of the Examination will be held on Friday and Saturday October and 1891 and the Medical Examina- tion will begin on Monday March 21 1892 The names of all Candidates must be sent in icriting to the Secretary of the College before four o'clock on Thursday October 1891 after which hour no name can he received The following will be the subjects of Examination Diui 1itg 100 marks On Friday Old Testament -The Prophecy of Jeremiah New Testament -The Acts of the Apostles On Saturday Prayer-Book -The Communion and Baptismal Services II Professional Subjects 100 marks Group Medicine Case in Medicine for Commentary Practical examination on medical cases in the wards Group Î’ Surgery Case in Surgery for Commentary Practical examination on surgery cases in the wards The papers set will be the same as those for the Senior Scholarship in the corresponding subjects
