MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 243 Anatomy Descriptive and Surgical The Lectures on Anatomy are divided into two courses descriptive and elementary course for Junior Students II An advanced course mainly topographicalffor Senior Students III Special classes in Osteology are also held during the Winter and Summer Sessions Practical Anatomy is taught in both the- Winter and Summer Sessions in the Dissecting Rooms by the Professor and Demonstrators of Anatomy Attendance is given daily from ten to four o'clock Physiology Practical Physiology &c The following courses of lectures and practical work will be given during the winter and Summer Sessions General Course of Physiology This course of lectures will give comprehensive account of Physiology under the following heads Structure pro- perties and chemical composition of the simple tissues the blood and lymph muscle and nerve the central nervous system and the sense organs circulation respiration food digestion and absorption the secretions and excretions nutrition and animal heat The class will meet three times week namely on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays during the Winter Session at 15 and will be fitted to meet the requirement of students preparing for the Inter- mediate and Sc examinations of the London Uni- versity and for the examinations of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons and Physicians This class is free to matriculated students Occasional students will pay fee of Ā£8 Ss
