164 department of science VIII science exhibitions Given hy the Clothworhers1 Company These Exhibitions of £30 per annum and £20 per annum each for two years are open to all Candidates λνΐιο are under the age of 19 years on October 1891 whether they are members of the College at that date or not For Rules Subjects and Names of Exhibitioners see pp 212 No Student can gain more than one of the following in the same year viz Warneford First Class Scholarships Clothworkers' Science Exhibitions Sambrooke Exhibitions IX scholarships endowed The "Inglis" Scholarships for English Literature and Modern History and the "Daniell" Scholarship for Chemistry are open to Students of this Department jelf medal This Medal is awarded Annually to the Student of the Second or Third Year who shall in the judgment of the Principal be the most distinguished at the Midsummer Examination endowed prizes The "Trench" Prize for Greek Testament the 11ΜοΟιιιΓ1 Prize for Hebrew the "Daniel" Scholarship for Chemistry the "Drew" Gold Medal for Mathematics the "Stephen" Prize for an English Essay the Carter" Prize for original English Verse the "Carter" Prize for Botany the "Leitner" Prize for an English Essay are open to Matriculated Students of this Department
