GENERAL LITKHATURE 105 Matriculated Students are allowed to attend the Geology Mineralogy and Geography Classes without extra charge and the lectures in Mechanics Physics and Chemistry on payment of half the specified fees but without extra charge if preparing for the Matriculation Examination of the University of London Students will be allowed under the sanction of the Dean to select such Classes as shall be most suitable for them Each Student is required to bring to the Dean on the first day of Term blank form to be obtained at the office of the Time Table filled up with the subjects which he to attend and he will be required to attend these subjects Civil Service Appointments -As far as possible arrange- ments will be made for preparing Candidates for these Examinations Before entrance Students should consult the Dean of the Department SYLLABUS OF LECTURES -Religious Instruction All Matriculated Students must attend the Divinity Lectures unless exempted by the Principal Lectures are delivered every Wednesday Afternoon during the Academical Year by the Principal on the Holy Scriptures and by the Vice-Principal on the Greek Testament The PrincipaPs subject for the coming session will be the four Gospels The Vice-Principal will lecture on the Epistles of the Captivity There are terminal examinations in the subjects treated in the Lectures
