THE SCHOOL 047 The Matriculation Examination The First Examina- tion of Candidates for Degree The Final Examination for Degree The following Regulation established by the Court applies to this Exhibition viz That one of the conditions upon which the Scholar at any University or College shall hold his Exhibi- tion and receive the advantages aiising therefrom shall be That during the whole of the time he shall continue at the University or College in which he may have matriculated or entered he shall well and properly conduct himself thereat and shall with due diligence pursue his studies for the purpose of qualifying himself to graduate at the University β to which he belongs with honour to the founders of the Exhibition and credit to himself and the School from which he proceeds Names of Exhibitioners 1880 Smith Andrew Halliday 1884 Cargill Lionel Vernon 1888 Austin Robert Frederick Skimmers' oinpanjfss Έχ Μύοη Founded by the Skinners' Company of London and to be continued during the pleasure of the Court The Exhibition is of the value of £50 per annum and is tenable for four years This Exhibition 18 awarded according to the results of the Midsummer Examination in linguistic knowledge Each Candidate is allowed to offer any three of the follow- ing subjects English Latin Greek French German Μ Μ
