320 ΜΕΡΙ 'ΛL PKr VRTMI NT If he should consider any case to be beyond bis own powers or to require extraordinary attention be in n- mediately to inform the House Surgeon of it and the House Surgeon must forthwith attend to it Although ii may expedient to point out the advisa- bility of remaining in the Hospital fur treatment still the fact of any one hesitating or even declining to do so is not to interfere with the case being promptly and properly attended to before it is allowed to leave the Hospital If any case is sent to the Outpatient Department the Accident Dresser is to go there personally with the Patient through the interior of the Hospital introduce him or her to the proper Medical Officer of that Department and not to leave that Department until he has seen the patient duly placed in that Officers charge The Out-patient Officers are give priority to all cases of Accident of any emergency whether brought to them in the manner above described or presenting themselves at the Out-patient Department in the usual manner Surgical Clinical Clerks -There shall be three in number acting under Professor Listens House Surgeon Ophthalmic Clinical Assistants -One is appointed for six months upon the recommendation of the Ophthalmic Surgeon Candidates must have served with distinction the office of Ophthalmic Dresser for at least six months or have obtained licence to practise Ophthalmic Dressers -There shall be three Ophthalmic Dressers They shall serve for six months attend regularly at the hours appointed and act under the direction the Ophthalmic Surgeon Aural Dressers -There shall be two Aural Dressers They shall be appointed for six months attend regularly at the hours appointed and act under the direction of the Aural Surireon
