- 1' MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 10 Clinical Surgery I'rofessor Lister gives two Clinical Lectures in each week 11 Operative Surgery In accordance with recent resolution of the Royal College of Surgeons course of Operative Surgery is arranged so as to give each Student the opportunity of practising operations on the dead Subject The course will be given during the Spring and Summer of each year According to the number of Students the class will be divided into sections of about ten to each Subject and will be held daily from to 10 30 till the work is finished The Fee for the course is £3 3s or in the case of Matrio ulated Medical Students of King's College £2 2s Each Student will also be charged 78 6d towards the expenses of the Subject All Students who propose to go up for their final examina- tions at the Conjoint Board before May of next year are requested to send their names immediately after Christinas to Mr Watson Cheyne 59 Welbeck Street so that the necessary arrangements may be made Classes are also arranged for the higher examinations and for the army and navy two Students for each Subject Fee £5 5s each 12 Principles and Practice of Medicine The Lectures on the Principles and Practice of Medicine are exemplified by Preparations Drawings and Models and by recent Specimens of diseased structure On account of the great extent of the subjects embraced in this Course some of them are treated of only in alternate years י Clinical Lectures are given once week during the Winter and Summer Sessions by the Physicians
