112 GENERAL LITERAl URE beyond its practical details The lectures will also be adapted to those who though not engaged in business yet desire some knowledge of Political Economy as part of general cduca- tion It is intended in this course to present general out- line of the most important and best established principles of Political Economy with especial reference to practical questions The text-book recommended is Marshall's Economics of Industry Macmillan Fees for one term £1 15 or £2 125 Gd for the yearly course 11 Drawing Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays 15 to Preparation in Geometrical Drawing Freehand Model- Drawing Perspective and Art work generally for Woolwich Sandhurst &c III REGULATIONS RESPECTING STUDENTS The days for the admission of new Students in the Aca- demical Year 1890 91 are Tuesday September 30 Wednesday January 14 and Wednesday April 15 All new Students are examined on their joining the College with the view of ascertaining that they are sufficiently advanced to enable them to take advantage of the College classes The Principal and Professors have the power of sending back for time any who may be considered unqualified for admission The Mathematical subjects are Euclid Books II Arith- metic and Elementary Algebra including simple Equations The Examination in Classics will be in Grammar and in passages to be translated from Standard Greek and Latin authors also an easy passage for translation from English into Latin prose
