536 THE SCHOOL 1886 Hay Frank Judd William Herbert 1887 Pickford Frank Austin Robert Frederick Lees William Edwin 1888 Townshend Horatio Baxter Yeomans Robert 1889 Miskin Leonard John Pearce Edward Nathanael -These Exhibitions may not be given after the Summer of 1889 XVII Entrance £xi ttutton£ Three Entrance Exhibitions of £25 per annum are given at the beginning of each term open to boys under 15 years of age on September January and May respectively and are tenable subject to the conditions of satisfactory work and conduct as long as the holders remain at the School These Exhibitions are awarded for sufficient merit is Classics or in Mathematics regard being had to the age of Candidates The holders of these Exhibitions have to pay the ordinary School fees which include the use of books amounting to 24 guineas per annum together with an entrance fee of £2 135 6r and subscription of £1 Is to the "Domus" fund at the beginning of the second term The Examinations for these Exhibitions begin on the days fixed for the admission of new Pupils in each term and candidates must send in their names to the Head Master together with certificate of character from their late Master or Tutor on form to be obtained in the office before on the preceding Friday Names of Exhibitioners 1889 Mason Walter Alexander Parker Kerslake Arthur Thomas
