488 CIVIL SERVICE CLASSES DIVISION CLERKSHIPS EXCISE CUSTOMS COPYISTSHIP TELEGRAPH LEARNERSHIPS "W BRAGINTON AND NKS Assisted by the following gentlemen White Biden London Η Walker General Arrangements applying to all Classes in Division Courses of preparation begin from four or six weeks aftei each Examination and continue until the next Examination Students are recommended to attend the whole course if tliev can The courses are divided into periods of about nine weeh There is mid-period admission month after the beginnin of each period for the remainder of that period and the next period Fee one and half times the single period fee On the announcement of an Examination special admissions are arranged at fees terminating at the Examination The Secretary's office is always open for the receipt of fees from 10 till Saturdays 10 till and it is also kept open from 45 till 45 on the opening day of each period Intend- ing students of the Men Clerks' Class should if possible pay their fees before on the opening day Unless this is done they are liable to be late in entering the Class Rooms Students who wish instruction during the vacation of their Class or when the course is approaching termination can attend Division II until the opening of the next course see page 499 The fee will be charged according to the period of attendance at the rate of 466 per evening and the Student will be able to attend on one or two evenings per week Or Candidates for Men Clerkships can attend the Excise Class Candidates for Boy Clerkships the Customs Class and Candidates for the Customs the Boy Clerks or the Excise Class The fee is proportionate to the period of attendance upon proper cause being shown Students can be transferred from one class to another
