316 medical department at the earliest possible moment to the porter of the Anatomi- cal Department In the event of the death of patient in the Surgical Wards he shall send immediate notice to the Surgeon under whose care the patient was admitted and to the Pathological Registrar Details of Duties Attendance at 30 in the Surgical Out-patient room at the back of the Hospital Prof Wood House-Surgeon on Monday and Wednesday Sir Joseph Lister on Tuesday and Thursday Prof Rose on Friday and Saturday Casualty work Before 10 and after 30 the latter being the hour at which the Accident-Dresser leaves the hospital the House- Surgeon whose day it is for Out-patients duty shall be and remain on accident duty for the rest of the day Admission of cases The House-Surgeon on duty for the day shall admit cases under the Surgeon to whom he is attached except those specially sent up for admission under any particular Surgeon Sunday duty The three House-Surgeons will take Sunday duty in rotation If House-Surgeon be summoned as witness on Police Court or other Sessions or be absent on account of ill-health or other just causes his place shall be filled by the Senior Dresser of the Surgeon he is under-but in case of special difficulty it shall be the Dresser's duty to call in the services of another House-Surgeon Operations -The area of the theatre shall be reserved for the Medical Officers including those resident the ln-Patient Dressers and such visitors as are specially introduced by the operating Surgeon The first row of the theatre shall be re- served for the remaining Dressers and the Clinical Clerks
