242 medical department Principles and Practice of Surgery This Course is illustrated by Preparations Models Casts and Drawings and by recent Specimens of the effects of surgical disease or injury general view is first given of the doctrines or principles of Surgery these are next applied in practical manner to the consideration of Injuries and Surgical Diseases of Textures and Regions The Course comprises series of Lectures on Surgical Anatomy and Operative Surgery The large collection of Diagrams and Casts presented to the College by Green Esq and Sir William Fergusson Bart belongs to these Lectures Practical Surgery The following Classes are now established Minor Surgery By Barrow Demonstrations in η ו ο mr α Surgical Pathology Carless M'B- M'S- Special instruction will be given in these Classes to Students preparing for the Pass Examination of the Conjoint Examining Board in England 10 Clinical Surgery Professor Wood will give one Clinical Lecture and one Bedside examination of the Class and Professor Lister two Clinical Lectures in each week 11 Operative Surgery In accordance with recent resolution of the Royal College of Surgeons course of Operative Surgery is arranged so as to give each Student the opportunity of practising operations on the dead Subject The course will be given during the spring of each year According to the number of Students the class will be divided into sections of about ten to each Subject and will be held daily from to 10 30 till the work is finished
