medical department 237 Anatomy Descriptive and Surgical The Lectures on Anatomy are divided into two courses descriptive and elementary course for Junior Students II An advanced course mainly topographical for Senior Students III Special classes in Osteology are also held during the Winter and Summer Sessions Practical Anatomy is taught in both the Winter and Summer Sessions in the Dissecting Rooms by the Professor and Demonstrators of Anatomy Attendance is given daily from ten to four o'clock Physiology In this Course of Lectures comprehensive account is given of Human Physiology embracing Physiological Physics Physiological Chemistry and Physiological Anatomy or Histology The Lectures are illustrated by Preparations Drawings Models and such experiments as are calculated to elucidate the functions of the Digestive Circulatory Respiratory Nervous and Muscular systems together with those of the Sense-organs During the Course all the tissues of the bodv are demon- strated with the aid of the microscope Practical Physiology This Course which occupies the Summer Session em- braces Practical Histology and the Elements of Experimental Physiology The Students are carefully instructed in all details relating to the use of the Microscope and the various methods necessary for histological research Each Student is required himself to perform the manipulations necessary for the
