210 ENGINEERING 1881 1882 Procter Herbert Tatham Fielding John Anderson Eobert Bruce Jones Patrick Nicholas Moore Kentish Jones Charles Edward 1883 1886 S&aeittt IBxitbitions GIVEN BY THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF CLOTHWORKERS One Exhibition of 50 year and one of 25L year each for twro years will be awarded in October 1889 They are open to all Candidates who are under the age of 19 years on October 1889 whether they are members of the College at that date or not The successful Candidates if not already Matriculated Students must immediately Matriculate in one of the Depart- ments of the College other than the Evening Classes The Exhibitions will be paid in six consecutive Terminal instalments at the end of each Term provided the Student has been in attendance as Matriculated Student and pro- duces to the Secretary Certificate of good conduct and of satisfactory progress in his studies from the Dean of his Department and the Principal In the event of any Exhibitioner failing to fulfil the foregoing conditions his Exhibition will lapse Subjects of Examination any four at the option of each Candidate of the following subjects viz Mathematics including Arithmetic Algebra Eu- clid II III IV VI and Plane Trigonometry Elementary Mechanics Physics including Hydrostatics Pneumatics and Heat Inorganic Chemistry
