94 THEOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT LAWS -This Society shall be called the King's College Theological Society II -The objects of the Society shall be the bringing to- gcther of past and present Members of the Theological Depart- ment the reading of papers and the consideration of subjects of practical interest III -The ordinary Membership shall be limited to past and present Students of the Department whether Matriculated or Occasional and Associates of King's College in Holy Orders Gentlemen not connected with the Department but likely to be useful Members of the Society may be elected as Honorary Members subject to the approval of the Managing Body who may not hold office or vote on business but who may other- wise exercise all the rights of ordinary Membership IV -The Principal if willing to accept the office shall be President and the past and present Professors and Lecturers of the Department and the Chaplain shall be invited to become Vice-Presidents -The management of the Society shall be vested in the President Vice-Presidents Treasurer Clerical Secretary Secretary and Committee of twelve ordinary members five of whom shall be present Students of the Department five to form quorum The election of the Managing Body shall be held annually in the month of February but in the event of the death resignation or incapacity of the President any of the Vice-Presidents the Treasurer Clerical Secretary or Secretary an election for filling the place or places left vacant may be held at any General Meeting balloting-papers being issued fourteen days before the Meeting as in Law VI Any Member of the Committee concluding his course shall retain office and the Members of the Society being present Students shall then elect one of their number who shall be added to the Committee
