CIVIL SERVICE CLASSES 471 meeting the College Office not being open the Lecturers receive the fees Students must pay their fees in the College Office and purchase supply of stationery if required from the Hall Porter before proceeding to their class-room On paying their fees they are required to name on the College form of admission the clergyman of the district in which they live or their employer or the head of their office or some other known person to whom if necessary reference can be made Any fee or part of fee paid for one Class can upon sufficient reason being shown be transferred to any other Class Student who has joined for one or two attendances per week and wishes to increase the number of his attendances per week can do so by paying the difference of the fees If single fee be paid for more than one period consecu- tive periods must be taken Fees are not returned in any circumstances except those specially mentioned in this prospectus Boohs -Students cannot avail themselves of the Class lectures without the books required They are strongly advised to get those recommended also as much time might be wasted in studying unsuitable text-books The books are kept in stock and can be obtained from the Hall Porter of the College at any time when the College is open The work being progressive in all the subjects from the beginning to the end of the Course Students are advised to join these Classes if possible at the beginning of the Course but there are admissions at intervals of six to nine weeks for the dates of which see Slip issued with prospectus In all the Classes the Home Work is set and examined The Lecturers attend about an hour before the commence- ment of their general Classes to give Parents and Students an opportunity of consulting them
