י MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 305 rnish an abstract of the case to the Pathological Registrar ach Dresser shall also furnish the Registrar with an bstract of every case under his care in which specimen is reserved for the purposes of the Museum Accident Dresser -The following are the duties assigned him Ψ ft The order of Attendance for Dressers to act as Accident resser is controlled by the House Surgeon who is re- ponsible for the conduct of the Department It is the especial duty of the Accident Dresser to remain the Hospital from 10 to 30 within easy call of the Hall orter for the express purpose of receiving and promptly ttending to every accident oase brought to the Hospital If he should consider any case to be beyond his own י י owers or to require extraordinary attention he is im- 1ediately to inform the House Surgeon of it and the House iurgeon must forthwith attend to it Although it may be expedient to point out the advisa- ility of remaining in the Hospital for treatment still the fact any one hesitating or even declining to do so not to iiterfere with the case being promptly and properly attended before it is allowed to leave the Hospital If any case is sent to the Out-patient Department the Iccident Dresser is to go there personally with the Patient hrough the interior of the Hospital introduce him her to he proper Medical Officer of that Department and not to eave that Department until he has seen the patient duly ilaced in that Officers charge The Out-patient Officers are to give priority to all cases if Accident of any erneigency whether brought to them in he manner above described or presenting themselves at the ut-patient Department in the usual manner Surgical Clinical Clerks -There shall be three in number cting under Professor Lister's House Surgeon Ophthalmic Dressers -There shall be three Ophthalmic ressers elected by examination in Ophthalmic Medicine tr
