262 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT XVIII ENDOWED PRIZES The interest of 300 bequeathed by the late Leathes Esq is expended annually in the purchase of Bible and Prayer-Book which are given to the two Medical Students who are found most worthy of the same for their proficiency in religious knowledge and for general good conduct All Matriculated Students of this Department may be Candidates for these Prizes Candidates must produce Certificates of good conduct of regular attendance on the Divinity Lectures and Certificates ο having passed two of the Terminal Examinations mentioned at page 230 Clause The next Examination will be held on Monday and Tuesday October and 1888 The names of all Candidates must be sent in writing to tne Dean of the Medical Department before two o'clock on Friday September 28 and after this hour no name will be received The following will be the subjects for Examination in 1888 Old Testament -The Pentateuch New Testament -The Acts of the Apostles Prayer-Book -The Morning and Evening Services The following will be the subjects for Examination in 1889 Old Testament -Books of Samuel Kings and Chronicles Neiv Testament -Gospels of St Matthew St Mark and St Luke Prayer-Book -The Communion and Baptismal Services Names of Prizemen For the Names of those elected previously to 1866 see the Calendar for 18C5-6 1866 Milles George Ridley 1807 Beach Fletcher Kidger Alfred Armitage
