438 THEOLOGICAL EVENING CLASSES College together with £4 15s 6d Entrance fees This latter sum is reduced to £2 14s 6d in the case of those who have already Matriculated in the Evening Class Department The fees payable during the last three terms for the Morning Course are £12 15 6d per term or £10 138 6d in the case of Associates of any Department of the College No one can be admitted to this Division of the Theological Department under twenty years of age unless by special permission of the Principal and all Students who Matriculate must subscribe declaration thdt they are members of the Church of England The Entrance Examinations will be held three times each year viz in October January and after Easter but entry in October or January is strongly recommended and of these the former is to be preferred The following are the subjects for the Entrance Exami- nations TheGospel accordingto St Matthewin Greek General Scripture History TheChurch Catechism with Explanations Cicero De Amiciti& or De Senectute Virgil iEneid Xenophon Anabasis Book Greekand Latin Grammar For the portions of Cicero Virgil or Xenophon any books of corresponding length and difficulty may be substituted by consent of the Principal Any gentlemen desiring to join this Department or any single class therein and needing any information are re quested to communicate with the Chaplain who may be found in his College Rooms during Terra at on Wednesdavs CLASSES IN PREPARATION FOR ADMISSION The following Evening Classes are arranged for this object viz
