282 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT then past Unless such Certificate be produced the Scholar- ship will become void at the close of that Academical Year The Scholars of this Class will be required to compete for the ordinary Medical Scholarship in their fourth year and the Dean's Certificate of satisfactory progress in Medical studies will depend upon their obtaining an aggregate of one-half the marks in that examination This Scholarship is tenable with one of the College Medical Scholarships but the holder of Warneford Class Scholarship must resign the same if he gain Class II Scholarship 1887-8 The Divinity part of the Examination will be held on Monday October 1887 and the Medical Examination will begin on Monday March 19 1888 The names of all Can- didates must be sent in writing to the Secretary of the College before four o'clock on Thursday September 29 1887 after which hour no name can be received The following will be the subjects of Examination Divinity 100 marks Old Testament -Psalms 1-89 New Testament -The Gospel of St John Prayer-Book -The Morning and Evening Services II Professional Subjects 100 marks Group Medicine Case in Medicine for Commentary Clinical Medicine Practical examination on medical cases in the wards יrj Group Β Surgery Case in Surgery for Commentary Clinical Surgery Practical examination on surgery cases in the wards The papers set will be the same as those for the Senior Scholarship and Clinical or Todd Prize in the corresponding subjects
