258 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT The attendance of each Student at Lectures is regularly marked At the close of each division of the Winter Ses- sion and at the close of the Summer Session the Dean prepares Report of the attendance general character and conduct of each Student which is forwarded to his Parent or Guardian after being submitted to and signed by the Prin- cipal copy of these reports is kept for future reference The Medical Library is open daily to all Students of this Department for the purposes of study see page 249 they also have the use of the General Library see page 550 limited number of Students are admitted to reside within the College see page 551 There is Dining Hall in the College for the accommodation of Resident and other Students of the College see page 557 Boxes are provided in the Corridors and in the Anatomical Departmentof the College in which Students may keep their Caps and Gowns Books &c See page 558 Books and Stationery of all kinds may be obtained in the Secretary's office ATHLETIC CLUB The Council have taken large piece of land close to Wormwood Scrubbs Station as recreation ground for the College and School and an Athletic Club has been formed for its management All Matriculated Students of this Depart ment who have joined the College since October 1884 are Members of the Club and entitled to all its privileges Students previously Matriculated will be admitted on pay- ment of 11 Is to cover the whole remainder of their College Course Occasional Students are admitted on payment of 10s 6d for each Academical Year All entrance fees must be paid in the College office
