APPLIED SCIENCES 2m 1881 Procter Herbert Tatham 1882 Fielding John Anderson Robert Bruce Jones Patrick Nicholas 1883 Moore Kentish 18S6 Jones Charles JEdward Science IE3ci ibtttons GIVEN BY THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF CLOTHWORKERS One Exhibition of 50 year and one of 251 year 5ach for two years will be awarded in October 1887 They are open to all Candidates who are under the age 19 years on October 1887 whether they are members of he College at that date or not The successful Candidates if not already Matriculated students must immediately Matriculate in one of the Depart- nents of the College other than the Evening Classes The Exhibitions will be paid in six consecutive Terminal nstalments at the end of each Term provided the Student las been in attendance as Matriculated Student and pro- luces to the Secretary Certificate of good conduct and of atisfactory progress in his studies from the Dean of his epartment and the Principal In the event of any Exhibitioner failing to fulfil the oregoing conditions his Exhibition will lapse Subjects of Examination any four at the option of each Jandidate of the following subjects viz Mathematics including Arithmetic Algebra Eu- did II III IV VI and Plane Trigonometry δ Elementary Mechanics Physics including Hydrostatics Pneumatics and Heat Inorganic Chemistry
