theological department 103 VII vocal music All Students attend the class of the Assistant Director on Thursdays at 12 15 which is partly occupied in the elementary study of Vocal Music and partly in Choir practice for the daily services in Chapel All Students in their second year including those who have studied in the Theological Evening Class also attend Professor Monk's class on Wednesdays at which is occu- pied in the more advanced study of Church Music In the Lent Term on Wednesdays at Course of Lectures will be delivered on the Choral Service and its proper performance which is attended by Students of the second year and is also open to occasional Students at fee of ha guinea VIII instrumental music Individual Instruction on the Organ is given under the direction of Professor Monk Fee for one lesson week from Professor Monk £5 5s from his Assistant £3 35 In addition fee of sixpence per hour or part of an hour is in each case charged for blowing the Organ IX the university of durham Admission and Residence -Any one who has completed his course of study and examination in the Theological Depart- ment of this College is admitted as student in Arts at the University of Durham without further examination and is admissible to the Final Examination for the Degree of Bachelor of Arts after he has kept three terms at least by residence as Student in arts These terms need not be kept consecutively Students who wish to enter at University College should write to the Master those who wish to do so at Bishop Hatfield Hall to the Principal and those who intend to come up as unattached members of the University to the Junior ן Proctor It is best to enter in October It is not advisable to do
