96 THEOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT The Church Catechism with Explanations Cicero de Amicitia or de Senectute Virgil Mneid Xenophon Anabasis Book Greek and Latin Grammar including the translation of easy sentences into Greek and Latin For the portions of Cicero Virgil or Xenophon any books of corresponding length and difficulty may be substituted by consent of the Principal The days fixed for this examination in the Academical Year 1887-88 are Tuesday October Tuesday January 10 and Tuesday April 17 The Examination commences at 10 VI examinations and final testamur Before receiving the Final Testamur each Student is required to satisfy the Principal and the Professors in the subjects specified in the arrangements of the Bishops for Ordination Examinations as stated on 92 as well as in the other Theological Instruction he has received during his course Examinations are held at the end of each Term and students are specially examined at the close of their third and sixth Terms One of the special subjects of the Examination at close of the Third Term is the Greek Text of the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles and at the end of the Sixth Term the Greek Text of the Epistle to the Romans the First and Second Epistles to the Corinthians and the Epistle to the Hebrews To each Student who has merited such distinction by his attainments and by his good character during the period of his studies in King's College and who has subscribed the Thirty-nine Articles is given the Diploma of Theological Associate with Certificate from the Principal of attain-
