THE SCHOOL 535 No boy can obtain Prize twice in the same Form except in special cases approved by the Head Master FOR MATHEMATICS AND ARITHMETIC Prizes are awarded every Term to the first boy in each Mathematical Form in the School No boy can obtain the same Mathematical Prize twice in the same Academical Year No boy can compete for the same Prize which he has gained before No boy can compete for lower Prize if he has already competed for higher one in any previous Term The Examiner can withhold the Prize from any Form if no boy should exhibit satisfactory knowledge of his sub- jects and such Prize may be awarded to any meritorious boy in another Form FOR FRENCH AND GERMAN Twelve Prizes are awarded every Term for proficiency in French Twelve Prizes are awarded every Term for proficiency in German -No boy can obtain the same French or German Prize twice except the highest and that not twice in the same Academical Year FOR SCIENCE DRAWING AND WRITING Five Prizes are awarded every Term for proficiency in Science Six Prizes are awarded every Term one for Geometrical Drawing four for Freehand Drawing viz one in each of the Divisions of the School Classical Modern Middle and Lower and one for the best Architectural Freehand or Ornamental Drawing open to the whole School
