the school 501 Sciences in King's College for the Home Civil Service and for the Competitive Examinations The course of instruction comprises Divinity Latin except in the higher forms German French English Language and Literature Physical Geography and Geology Mathematics Geometrical Freehand and Landscape Drawing Lectures in Chemistry are given to the Upper Forms The Middle School is intended to prepare for both Departments of the Upper School Each Form is divided into two Sections learning Greek or German the one preparing for the Classical the other for the Modern Department The boys of this Division attend Elementary Lectures on Natural Science they see the experiments performed and are required to give an account of each Lecture Special attention is paid to Writing French and Arithmetic Boys in this Division learn Drawing and Drilling The Lower School is intended to prepare boys for the Middle and TTpper School and to ground them thoroughly in dementary work The system of instruction is so arranged as to be dapted for boys of very early age and to supersede the necessity preparatory training in other schools All boys learn Drawing and are regularly Drilled Special attention is paid to Writing and Arithmetic
