civil service classes 491 VIII INTENDING STUDENTS FEOM THE COUNTRY Intending students from the country being often desirous testing their qualifications before incurring the expense of 3moving to London for preparation the Lecturers of this department undertake to examine them through the post with view of expressing an opinion on their work and chances Ε passing and of advising them generally as to the course ley should pursue It must however be understood that le Lecturers can do nothing by correspondence that will in 1y degree anticipate or serve as substitute for the actual ass teaching The following fees are charged for the above camination £1 10s for candidates for Clerkships Class is for candidates for all other appointments Applications examination must be addressed to the Secretary King's liege must state the class of appointment for which the plicant is candidate and must be accompanied by Post See Order payable to John William Cunningham at Charing oss London Lodgings -The Lecturers can recommend respectable uses where the cost of board lodging and the usual extras cept washing will not exceed 21s per week 15s in the se of Female Students -payments to be made in advance IX GENERAL INFORMATION Ν All Fees are payable in advance in the College Office any between ten and four except on Saturday when the ice closes at two or one hour previous to the opening of Jlass on the first evening of any period After the first eting the College Office not being open the Lecturers eive the fees
