medical department 265 intably the case with the Crustacea specimens to illustrate vhich will be gratefully acknowledged by the Curator The Materia Medica Collection large portion of which was resented by the Worshipful Company of Apothecaries by the ate Sir Η Halford Bart by Messrs Savory Moore and Messrs Howard is kept up to date The Collections of Mineralogy and Geology are very large and besides containing examples of the different formations with selection of the most characteristic fossils belonging to each include valuable collection of rock specimens from the Hartz Mountains There are also two Cabinets of Shells collected by James Jamieson Corder Esq formerly student 01 the College and presentedeto the Museum by his brother Thomas Corder Esq in 1873 Admission of Students The Medical ponion of the Museum is open from 10 till in winter and from 10 till in summer Saturdays excepted when it is closed at throughout the year to Medical Students only The other parts of the Museum are open during the same hours to medical students and to students of the Applied Science and of the Evening Class Departments Students wishing to handle any of the specimens must obtain an order for such permission which must be signed by the Dean of the Department the Curator having authority to withhold such permission if he think necessary Admission of Strangers The Curator will be happy to authorise the attendants to show the Museums during the hours that the College is open to strangers presenting the card of any gentleman connected with the College
