258 medical department 10 Practical Surgery The following Classes are now established Operative Surgery By Rose Minor Surgery By Barrow Demonstrations in ΛλΫ Surgical Pathology W' W' ChWne GM- F'RCS Special instruction will be given in these Classes to Students preparing for the Pass Examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England 11 Clinical Surgery Professor Wood will give one Clinical Lecture and one Bedside examination of the Class and Professor Lister two Clinical Lectures in each week 12 Principles and Practice of Medicine The Lectures on the Principles and Practice of Medicine are exemplified by Preparations Drawings and Models and by recent Specimens of diseased structure On account of the great extent of the subjects embraced in this Course some of them are treated of only in alternate years Clinical Lectures are given twice week during the Winter and Summer Sessions by the Physicians 13 Materia Medica and Therapeutics In this Course an account is given of the natural history chemical composition and mode of action of the Substances used as Medicines The Lectures are illustrated by Experiments and by the Drugs and Pharmaceutical Preparations presented to King's College by the Society of Apothecaries by the late Sir Henry Halfo Bart by Messrs Savory and Moore and by other liberal friends of the College The Museum is further
